a new year, Amsterdam, Oslo, Trondheim and many things to come

Welcome to 2010 or godt nytt år as they say here in Norway! A busy 2009 came to an end and I am looking forward to new exciting and challenging activities in 2010.
Right now I am spending a lot of time in my little studio and having fun with the new Ableton and Max for Live. After a long period on beta a couple of weeks ago finally 8.1 with Max for Live came out!
Its opening a new dimension and brings the world of Max/Msp very close to an Ableton user.
Besides that the next gig with Mungolian Jetset is on the 3.3. in Amsterdam. The concert with a laptop ensemble, which is going to happen with the participants of my Ableton live class from last semester the same night but here in Oslo will be joined by me from Amsterdam via internet... If we can manage to make this work. :-)
I have just played guitar on Mungolian´s latest remix for Wolfmother, its just released, I think by Universal.
In march I will also travel to Trondheim and give a two day workshop at the NTNU , institutt for musikk and play a concert with the fantasticl Øyvind Brandsegg.

The festival summer is over, played very nice gigs with Mungolian and Chromekraut. Went to places I wanted to go for a long time... Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Punkt in Krisiansand, Oya in Oslo, Nu Music in Stavanger etc.
Now we going to record more with Chromekraut (see the videos in NEWS) and the production of the Mungolian album started as well. Stay tuned for more concerts to be announced soon!
